GOD focus produces and publishes the interview shows GOD chat, GOD talk and GOD teach on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and what your rights are. It covers the website godfocus.org with its shop, and the small software tools we use to publish our own videos and follow how they perform.
Who is responsible
GOD focus is the data controller. Contact us about anything in this policy at info@godfocus.org.
The website
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, e-mail address and message, and use them only to answer you. We keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, your e-mail address is stored with our newsletter service, Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA), and used only to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every newsletter. Mailchimp is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which covers the transfer of your address to the USA.
The shop
When you buy something in our shop, we need your name, address, e-mail address and, if you give it, your phone number to deliver the order and send you a receipt. If you create an account, we also keep your order history so you can see it there. Payments are handled by Stripe; your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by us. Stripe sets cookies to prevent payment fraud.
The legal basis is the purchase contract with you. Under the Danish Bookkeeping Act we keep order and accounting records for five years after the end of the financial year. If you have an account, you can ask us to delete it at any time.
The shop also records where a visitor came from (for example a search engine or a social media link) and attaches that to orders, so we can see which channels lead to purchases.
Statistics and cookies
We count visits with Burst Statistics, which runs on our own web server — the data is not sent to anyone else. The site uses these cookies:
- burst_uid — visitor statistics (Burst Statistics, our own server).
- sbjs_* — where a visit came from, used for the shop’s order attribution (WooCommerce).
- __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid — fraud prevention for payments (Stripe).
- Technical cookies the site needs to work, such as the shopping cart and login.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the shop may then not work.
Embedded content
Some pages show videos from YouTube and a map from Google Maps. When such content loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, as described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Simply.com in Denmark, which processes the site’s data on our behalf.
Our publishing tools and Google / YouTube data
We use an application we built ourselves, “GOD focus YouTube uploader”, to work with our own YouTube channel (GOD focus, @godfocus_org). It is used only by the GOD focus team, signed in with the channel’s own Google account. It is not offered to the public, and nobody outside GOD focus signs in to it.
What it accesses
- Upload and manage our videos (YouTube Data API, scopes youtube.upload and youtube.force-ssl): uploading our episodes and clips, setting titles, descriptions, thumbnails, subtitles and release times.
- Read statistics for our own videos (YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics/Reporting API, scope yt-analytics.readonly): views, likes, comment counts, shares, watch time, impressions and click-through rate, plus the channel’s subscriber count.
The statistics are aggregate numbers per video. They do not identify individual viewers, and we do not read or store viewers’ names, comments, messages or any other information about individual YouTube users.
How we use and store it
- The statistics are saved in a private Google Sheet shared only with the GOD focus team. We use them to see which episodes and clips work, and for nothing else.
- The sign-in credential (an OAuth token) is stored only on a GOD focus computer, never on a server and never shared.
- We do not sell this data, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
- We keep the statistics for as long as we publish the show, and delete them on request.
Google API Services
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The tool uses YouTube API Services. By using YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can withdraw the tool’s access to a Google account at any time on the Google security settings page.
Instagram and Facebook
In the same way, a tool connected to our own Facebook Page (GOD FOCUS) and Instagram account (@godfocus_org) reads aggregate statistics for our own posts — views, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, watch time and follower counts. It cannot post, read messages or see information about individual users. The numbers go into the same private sheet and are handled as described above. Meta’s own handling of your data is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.
People who appear in our shows
Guests take part with their consent. We store recordings and the material made from them (episodes, clips, subtitles) to edit and publish the show. If you have appeared in an episode and want something changed or taken down, write to us.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted, and you may object to how we use it. Write to info@godfocus.org. You may also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update it on this page and change the date at the top.

Butikken
Køber du noget i vores butik, skal vi bruge dit navn, din adresse, din e-mailadresse og eventuelt dit telefonnummer for at levere ordren og sende dig en kvittering. Opretter du en konto, gemmer vi også din ordrehistorik, så du kan se den der. Betalinger håndteres af Stripe; dine kortoplysninger går direkte til Stripe og gemmes aldrig hos os. Stripe sætter cookies for at forhindre betalingssvindel.
Grundlaget er købsaftalen med dig. Efter bogføringsloven gemmer vi ordrer og regnskabsmateriale i fem år fra udgangen af regnskabsåret. Har du en konto, kan du til enhver tid bede os om at slette den.
Butikken registrerer også, hvor en besøgende kom fra (fx en søgemaskine eller et link på sociale medier), og knytter det til ordrer, så vi kan se, hvilke kanaler der fører til køb.
Statistik og cookies
Vi tæller besøg med Burst Statistics, som kører på vores egen webserver — data sendes ikke videre til andre. Siden bruger disse cookies:

Indlejret indhold
Nogle sider viser videoer fra YouTube og et kort fra Google Maps. Når den slags indhold indlæses, modtager Google din IP-adresse og kan sætte sine egne cookies, som beskrevet i Googles privatlivspolitik.

Hjemmesiden hostes af Simply.com i Danmark, som behandler sidens data på vores vegne.
Vores udgivelsesværktøjer og data fra Google / YouTube
Vi bruger et program, vi selv har lavet, “GOD focus YouTube uploader”, til at arbejde med vores egen YouTube-kanal (GOD focus, @godfocus_org). Det bruges kun af GOD focus-teamet, logget ind med kanalens egen Google-konto. Det tilbydes ikke til andre, og ingen uden for GOD focus logger ind i det.
- Upload og håndtering af vores videoer (YouTube Data API): upload af afsnit og klip, titler, beskrivelser, miniaturebilleder, undertekster og udgivelsestidspunkter.
- Statistik for vores egne videoer (YouTube Data API og YouTube Analytics/Reporting API): visninger, likes, antal kommentarer, delinger, visningstid, eksponeringer og klikrate samt kanalens antal abonnenter.
Statistikken er samlede tal pr. video. Den identificerer ikke enkelte seere, og vi læser eller gemmer ikke seeres navne, kommentarer, beskeder eller andre oplysninger om enkelte YouTube-brugere.
- Tallene gemmes i et privat Google-regneark, som kun GOD focus-teamet har adgang til, og bruges kun til at se, hvilke afsnit og klip der virker.
- Login-nøglen (en OAuth-token) ligger kun på en computer hos GOD focus, aldrig på en server, og deles ikke.
- Vi sælger ikke data, deler dem ikke med tredjeparter, bruger dem ikke til annoncering og bruger dem ikke til at træne AI-modeller.
- Vi gemmer statistikken, så længe vi udgiver programmet, og sletter den, hvis du beder om det.
Vores brug af oplysninger fra Googles API’er overholder Google API Services User Data Policy, herunder kravene om begrænset brug (Limited Use). Værktøjet bruger YouTube API Services; se YouTubes servicevilkår og Googles privatlivspolitik. Du kan til enhver tid fjerne værktøjets adgang til en Google-konto på Googles sikkerhedsside.
Instagram og Facebook
På samme måde læser et værktøj, der er koblet til vores egen Facebook-side (GOD FOCUS) og Instagram-konto (@godfocus_org), samlede tal for vores egne opslag: visninger, rækkevidde, likes, kommentarer, delinger, gemte, visningstid og antal følgere. Det kan ikke slå noget op, læse beskeder eller se oplysninger om enkelte brugere. Tallene gemmes i samme private regneark og behandles som beskrevet ovenfor. Se også Metas privatlivspolitik.
Medvirkende i programmerne
Gæster medvirker med deres samtykke. Vi opbevarer optagelserne og det, vi laver ud fra dem (afsnit, klip, undertekster), for at redigere og udgive programmet. Har du medvirket og ønsker noget ændret eller fjernet, så skriv til os.
Dine rettigheder
Efter databeskyttelsesforordningen (GDPR) kan du få indsigt i de personoplysninger, vi har om dig, og få dem rettet eller slettet, og du kan gøre indsigelse mod vores brug af dem. Skriv til info@godfocus.org. Du kan også klage til Datatilsynet.
